What draws you to the darkness?
I’m sure there is a modicum amount of personal experience that contributes, but more than anything else it is a primal instinct that, hopefully, you won’t ever have to truly experience. So horror media allows you to explore an emotion and reaction that otherwise you would be completely oblivious to.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
Well, what kind of horror movie? Slasher? I would fall down a lot less, the “slow following but always catching” only happens with complacency.. or by falling over and forgetting how to stand up. So yeah, I would move at a moderate pace consistently until I am sure to be away from the danger. Zombie? I have planned this out more than I care to admit. But to make it simple - dawn of the dead. I wouldn’t leave the mall. Ghost? I wouldn’t survive.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I would use some of it to catch back up, we all have some sort of bill to pay these days. But I would also take a good portion and reinvest in my projects - which just so happens to be a horror game that I have been working on for the past decade - that I hopefully will finish in the next 3 years.
