Heather Watt

I have been a fan of all things horror since I could watch movies. It’s some thing I don’t often get to connect with people about.

What draws you to the darkness?

Childhood obsession with goosebumps and are you afraid of the dark. The suspense and excitement of all things spooky sustains me all year round (until Halloween of course). There’s just something enchanting about a dark storyline and all the Folklore that may go with it.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I feel like I’m fairly well studied for horror Movie survival having watched so many. Though I think the real key is not breaking the three cardinal rules which are having sex, doing drugs, or saying the phrases I’ll be right back or don’t worry, worry. Additionally, not wandering off by yourself helps. Also, I feel that the surviving protagonist has to be a good person, but not a goody two shoes.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

With the unlucky 13, I would order a couple of oddities I’ve had my eye on. Such as preserved spiderwebs, scorpion and bat skeleton specimens (Ethically sourced.) And then I would be delighted to put some away towards a down payment for a home.
