Jennette Bush

Horror is my "niche". I've raised my kids on the likes of Freddy, Chucky, Leatherface and Pinhead instead of Disney & Nickelodeon

What draws you to the darkness?

I've always felt a pull to the spooky and macabre. From the time I was a young child, making "potions" in the mud, to delving into my family history of both alleged witches and those who persecuted them, the fascination has resonated since before I can remember. I've also had a soul-deep call to the working of ancient Egypt, in particular the stories of Anubis, Osiris, and Horus.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I'm filled with entirely too much "useless knowledge". My untreated ADHD became a superpower. I've spent hundreds of hours hyperfocused on ways to trick, escape and maime serial killers and monsters.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

I'd catch up on bills first, then get my car fixed, and use the rest to take my sons (17 and 14) to their first horror convention. They've been begging for years, and I'd love to give my kids the opportunity to meet their heroes.
