Jordan Flaherty

I'm very expressive. I get a noise complaint anytime I do horror because of how much I scream. Seriously. No, seriously I do.

What draws you to the darkness?

Nothing. Nothing at all. I won't even venture into my bathroom if the lights won't turn on. The chances of a goblin eating me in the dark are very low, but never zero. I'm a zero risk kind of guy. When I watch scary movies, it's in the early morning. A classic 'Wake and Scare'. I like to give myself a full business day to calm down.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I recognize people have to die. All is fair in horror movies. To make it out alive, we may have to become the monster we so deeply fear. When the camera is rolling, really sell it that you did all that you could to save your friends. But between you and I, it's all strategic. We sacrifice them. And maybe I do a meet & greet with the monster ahead of time and I can invite more people for the monster to swallow. An investment, if you will. I will live and I keep bringing this monster more people.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

I'll tell you what, monsters, ghouls, deamons, identical twins— they're all horrifying creatures. But there's nothing more horrifying than crippling debt. $13,000 would be enough to set me free and plan for my future. And I won't have to pay the monster and money who let me live, it prefers human souls.
