What draws you to the darkness?
I’m actually a big scaredy-cat, believe it or not. I think that what draws me to that is this idea of confronting your fears, and diving into the headspace of creators of horror. I studied psychology in college and love to pick apart character behavior in horror films. Despite it being scary, I think there’s something oddly comforting about darkness and horror in the sense that it brings people together. We bond over our fears.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I am hyper-vigilant in serious situations. I do not go toward strange noises or call out Hello if I think someone is in my house. I also got lucky enough to have a partner who really hammers in how to protect myself, as well as a dad who thinks it’s fun to go over what we would do in disaster scenarios. I’d totally be the final girl.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
Oh, I’d for sure buy myself an exclusive weekend to Halloween Horror Nights. But on a serious note, I would pay off my debts so I can really buckle down and start putting my money towards buying a home :)
