What draws you to the darkness?
The darkness exposes a great deal about the human experience. The Horror genre is a representation of the strength of the human spirit and the power of pure human determination unleashed by the basic instinct to overcome and survive.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
There are certain qualities that all survivors have in common. Each one exhibits an inner strength that when called upon allows them to tap into the most primitive of human instincts - the will to survive. I would call upon the hardships of my own life that have built that same strength in me that would allow me to access that primal instinct.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
My parents divorced before I was 2 years old. When I would go for visitation with my dad as a kid, one of my favorite things to do was rent movies for us to watch at night. My dad is the one who introduced me to Horror movies. I cherished my weekends with my dad and grew to love Horror movies. My dad passed away not too long ago. We had his ashes buried. I would love to use this money to honor him with a big headstone.
