Summer White

Horror has always been with me. It started when I was a kid with Scooby Doo and Tim Burton before I finally graduated to slashers.

What draws you to the darkness?

It’s just so dang fun! I see horror as a form of self expression that allows me to be my quirky self. Horror is accepting of differences and embraces the weird. I am autistic and have found horror to be a community for people like me. Horror allows us to discuss taboo things that most avoid. Death, violence, sexuality, societal collapse, you name it.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

Well besides seeing almost every horror film out there, I feel like I could outsmart the killer. I am very into psychology so I think I could get into their head and know their next move.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

Pay off my student loans. I am in my last semester of my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology.
