Yesenia Rosario-Veiga

My whole family and I have always been into horror films. Mostly my little brother. He passed a couple years ago. He would have loved this!

What draws you to the darkness?

I grew up in a very spiritual home. My grandmother read tarot cards. My younger brother saw ghost. We loved Halloween and watching scary movies. It’s been a part of our lives before we were even born. He had an untimely death 2 years back and I know he would have loved to be a part of such an amazing opportunity.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I was always able to think fast and out smart the competition. I’m strong and fast. And do not scare easy. I can think quickly in sticky situations in essence helping me make it to the end.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

Firstly I would help my family, and my mother fix up our childhood home. After my brothers passing she kind of gave up on the home I was born in and it’s falling apart. She is now old, has disabilities, and cannot do it on her own. The economy is not helping. Secondly I would go to school to help further my career and education.
